The nomination of these 14 MLAs is expected to help in tackling these problems and improving Delhi’s urban management.
Strengthening MCD for Better Governance
MCD is Delhi’s largest local body, responsible for maintaining sanitation, roads, streetlights, parks, and other civic amenities. The effective functioning of MCD is crucial for providing better living conditions in the city.
This initiative by the Delhi Assembly is considered a major step toward sustainable urban development, better public services, and transparent administration.
