On October 2, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav honored the medal winners of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The award ceremony took place at 12 noon in the badminton hall of Tatya Tope Stadium. Olympic medalist in hockey, Vivek Prasad Sagar, Paralympic medalists in judo, Kapil Parmar, and shooting player Rubina Francis were awarded checks of ₹1 crore each by the state government.
Olympic participant Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, Paralympic participants Prachi Yadav and Pooja Ojha were also honored with checks of ₹10 lakh each.
Appointment Letters Given
In the ceremony, appointment letters were handed over to the outstanding players who received the Vikram Award from 2017 to 2022. The following players were given appointments in the Water Resources Department: throw-ball player Chandrakant Harde, wushu player Bhuraksha Dubey, shooter Pragati Dubey, kho-kho player Nancy Jain, mallakhamb player Rajveer Singh, and judo player Poonam Sharma.

Appointment Certificates Distributed
Similarly, para-canoe player Prachi Yadav and karate player Nidhi Nanhet were given appointment certificates in the Public Works Department. In the Urban Development and Housing Department, softball players Pooja Parkhe, Ragini Chauhan, and yoga player Rohit Vajpayee received appointment letters. Soft tennis player Jai Meena and adventure sports player Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha were given certificates of appointment in the Energy Department.
Kabaddi player Kanchan Jyoti, softball player Subodh Chaurasia, and soft tennis player Aditya Dubey were appointed in the Medical Education Department, while shooter Chinki Yadav was appointed in the Forest Department. Additionally, various players were given appointment letters in the Water Resources Department, Public Works Department, and Urban Development and Housing Department.
