Devendra Chouksey, Managing Director of KRCSS, has raised concerns about the credibility of Hindenburg Research. He pointed out that Hindenburg is not a registered company and does not fall under any regulatory authority. According to Chouksey, if the opposition demands that regulatory bodies like SEBI, the Supreme Court, or the government resign every time a research paper is published, it seems childish. He believes that the opposition should also show maturity in such cases.
Chouksey dismissed the new Hindenburg report as just another failed attempt by the American short-seller. He noted that the previous report had not harmed India’s legal system or affected Adani Group’s stock prices. The market, he said, has rejected Hindenburg’s false claims and understands that this is part of a well-planned conspiracy.
Chouksey emphasized that Hindenburg is not registered as an investment advisor in the U.S. or any other country. Therefore, relying on its report to question the entire regulatory system or even the Supreme Court’s decisions is baseless. He argued that credibility is essential, but making judgments based on one company’s report is not a good practice.
He concluded by saying that instead of reacting to such reports, everyone should work together to protect India’s wealth.
