Banerjee had said that the victim’s family does not want justice. The victim’s mother responded, saying, “CM Mamata Banerjee does not have children, so she cannot understand the pain of losing a child. Her statement has hurt us.”

The whole world is standing with my daughter, protesting for justice. But Mamata is saying that we don’t want justice. I urge the protesters to continue until justice is served.”
