UP Politics: SP MP Ziaur Rahman Bark’s Response to CM Yogi’s Statement on Gyanvapi

Ziaur Rahman Bark’s Response: Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Ziaur Rahman Bark has criticized Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s recent statement about the Gyanvapi mosque. Bark accused the Chief Minister of disregarding the court’s authority and suggested that Yogi Adityanath’s comments reflect a sense of inferiority complex and are an attempt to play communal politics.

Criticism of CM Yogi’s Statement

Bark claimed that CM Yogi Adityanath’s comments on Gyanvapi are an insult to the judiciary. He argued that the Supreme Court should take notice, as the Chief Minister appears to be making judicial decisions himself. Bark said that Yogi should avoid using such language as the Chief Minister of the state. He pointed out that Muslims pray in Gyanvapi, which is why it is referred to as a mosque. According to Bark, Yogi Adityanath’s statement is driven by a sense of inferiority following the Lok Sabha election loss, aiming to create a Hindu-Muslim divide for electoral gains.

Comments on BJP and Future Political Outlook

Bark further mentioned that even Hindus are now seeking refuge from the BJP and that no one will be misled by their tactics. He expressed confidence that the India Alliance and SP will form the government in the state in the future. Bark condemned Yogi Adityanath’s statement and defended SP leader Akhilesh Yadav’s remarks about saints. He suggested that BJP members, who are involved in crime while pretending to be saints, are the real issue.

Akhilesh Yadav’s Defense

Regarding Akhilesh Yadav’s comments, Bark explained that Yadav was not opposing saints but was criticizing those in the BJP who use the guise of sainthood for political purposes. The controversy around Yogi Adityanath’s statements has intensified political debate in the state.

Context of CM Yogi’s Statement

CM Yogi Adityanath had recently called it “unfortunate” to refer to Gyanvapi as a mosque during his visit to Varanasi. He claimed that Gyanvapi represents a true form of Lord Vishwanath and shared a story about Lord Shiva’s meeting with Lord Vishwanath during his visit.
