Published:

YouTube has introduced a new AI video feature for Shorts creators. Now, creators can use Google’s Veo 2 AI model to generate video clips and add them to YouTube Shorts. This feature is part of YouTube’s Dream Screen tool.

How to Generate AI Video Clips?

Follow these simple steps to create AI-generated video clips for YouTube Shorts:

1️⃣ Open the Shorts camera and go to the media picker.
2️⃣ Tap on the “Create” option at the top.
3️⃣ Enter a text prompt, describing what you want in your video.
4️⃣ Choose video style, effects, lens, and duration.
5️⃣ Submit your request, and your AI-generated video will be ready in seconds!

Which Countries Have This Feature?

Right now, YouTube has launched this feature in four countries:
🇺🇸 USA
🇨🇦 Canada
🇦🇺 Australia
🇳🇿 New Zealand

YouTube plans to expand this feature to other countries soon.

What is the Veo 2 Model?

Google’s Veo 2 AI model is currently in early access and available through a waitlist. YouTube says that with Veo 2, Dream Screen can now generate higher-quality videos faster than before.

AI Videos Will Have Special Tags

All AI-generated videos on YouTube will include:
Visual tags
Google’s SynthID watermark

This will help viewers identify AI-generated content.

When Will This Feature Come to India?

As of now, this feature is not available for Indian creators, but YouTube may launch it soon. Once introduced, it will help creators make high-quality Shorts with less effort! 🚀
