Haryana Election 2024: Voter Turnout in Vinesh Phogat’s Julana Seat by 11 AM

The voting for the Haryana Assembly’s 90 seats is in progress. By 11 AM, 18.1% of the total votes had been cast. On the Julana Assembly seat, where famous wrestler Vinesh Phogat is contesting from Congress, 21.6% of voters in her district had voted by 11 AM. On the Julana seat itself, 30% of voters had cast their votes by this time.

Vinesh Phogat’s candidacy has made the Julana seat very important in this election. She is being challenged by BJP candidate Captain Yogesh Bairagi.

There was also a complaint of booth capturing in Julana. BJP candidate Captain Yogesh Bairagi arrived at the spot as soon as he received the information, but some people protested against him.

Voter Turnout by District by 11 AM

By 11 AM, the overall voter turnout across Haryana was 18.1%. The highest turnout was in Yamunanagar with 23.1%, while the lowest was in Faridabad at 13.6%. Other districts had the following turnout: Panchkula 15.9%, Ambala 19.8%, Kurukshetra 22%, Kaithal 22.7%, Karnal 15.6%, Panipat 20.3%, Sonipat 17.9%, Jind 21.6%, Fatehabad 21.7%, Sirsa 17.5%, Hisar 18.5%, Bhiwani 20.9%, Charkhi Dadri 19.6%, Rohtak 15.2%, Jhajjar 14.4%, Mahendragarh 17.1%, Rewari 14.7%, Gurugram 16.4%, Mewat 19.2%, Palwal 16.2%, and Faridabad 13.6%.

Vinesh Phogat’s Appeal to the People

After casting her vote, Congress candidate and wrestler Vinesh Phogat urged people to come out and vote in large numbers. She said, “Vote for the party that fights for women’s rights. I am sure you know which party I am referring to. Everyone needs to decide their future wisely.”
